So glad I decided to take my money out of Wells Fargo and Chase. Had been having problems with both of those banks. When my Chase account was hacked for the second time in 3 months, I decided that was it! This banks is so much better, very helpful people, and great services. I should have done this ages ago!

I have been a member of GASCU for over 10 years, and our family has multiple accounts here. The entire staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Most of my transactions are quick trips to make a deposit or withdrawal and Jenna seems to help me most of the time. She is so friendly and always remembers who I am, which is exactly why I prefer to do business here instead of at a mega bank where the lines are usually longer because they keep cutting the number of tellers in favor of more ATM machines in the lobby. They also recently updated their website which makes online banking even easier. I highly recommend GASCU for anyone who lives in the area and wants to bank where they feel welcome every time.

I’ve been a member for decades and I appreciate them more each year and with every encounter I’ve had with a regular Bank. Unfortunately I needed to experience Citibank to do banking for my elderly father, but that really helps in seeing a comparison. It’s small enough that the staff gets to know you and not treat you as if you might be a crook. They’ll talk to you on the phone and not put you through to the Philippines or somewhere else in the world after waiting through 5 or 10 minutes of telephone prompts and a likely disconnect. Opening an account might take 20 minutes as opposed to waiting 30minutes or more just to talk to someone at a desk, then 45 mins to set up the account then waiting for up to a week for the central office and their legal team to approve your account. They don’t try to sell you additional services. They also make banking by mail simple. If you want to feel appreciated instead of frustrated and make banking quick and enjoyable give GASCU a try.
